Cafeteria Transfer Funds / Contribution / Refund Requests


If your student(s) will be returning in August to Katy ISD, their current cafeteria balance will roll forward to next school year.  Refund requests take approximately six to eight weeks to process. Due to COVID-19, processing may take a little longer. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.

If relocating from our district, we have multiple options available for remaining cafeteria balances.

  • Transfer Funds:  Request remaining cafeteria balance to be transferred to a sibling still enrolled in the district or designated student.
  • Contribution: Request remaining cafeteria balance to be contributed to a student in need of assistance within the district.
  • Refund: Request remaining cafeteria balance to be refunded. This will be sent via mail as a check and takes 6 to 8 weeks for processing.

Account balances for students remaining in the Katy ISD school district for the next school year will stay on their account and will be available for them to use on the first day of school.
