Important Menu Update: Due to recent closures menus scheduled on Tuesday January 16th will be served on Thursday January 18th.  Menus scheduled for Wednesday January 17th will be served on Friday January 19th.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. All meals, foods and beverages are prepared and served by qualified child nutrition professionals. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Breakfast Requirements

Starting in the 2014-2015 school year, all students are required to take a 1/2 cup of fruit at breakfast with two other meal items to receive the meal price.

If the student does not take at least ½ cup of the fruit with two other meal items they will be charged higher a la carte prices.

Lunch Requirements

In August 2012, as required under the United States Department of Agriculture Healthy, Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010:

Elementary students that eat in the cafeteria must take at least  ½ cup of fruit and/or vegetable with two other meal components  to pay the meal price.

Secondary students that eat in the cafeteria must take at least  ½ cup of fruit and/or vegetable with two other meal components  to pay the meal price.

If the student does not take at least ½ cup of the fruit and/or vegetable with two other meal components they will be charged higher a la carte prices.  Food components include: meat, bread/grain, fruit, vegetable and milk.
